The Sacramento Kings have begun the 2018-2019 season with more wins than the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

After Friday night’s game against Washington with a final score of 116-112, the Sacramento Kings now have three victories this season.

That’s one more victory than Los Angeles and three more than Cleveland. The Cavs currently sit at 0-6 and fired now former head coach Ty Lue on Sunday.

Perhaps Los Angeles can make room for Lue, since they signed LeBron James from the Cavs after Cleveland lost the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, but there’s no news on teams interested in Lue at the moment.

The Kings head to the American Airlines Arena to face off with the Miami Heat Monday night, who currently sit at a 3-2 this season.
