Although the Sacramento Kings fell one win shy of making the NBA Playoffs, some voters tipped their caps to the ‘Beam Team’ during the voting process for the NBA Basketball Executive of the Year award.

The NBA announced on Tuesday that Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens has won the 2023-24 Executive of the Year award. The head coach-turned-executive secured 101 voting points to take home the honor.

Stevens, 47, constructed a Celtics roster that led the NBA with a record of 64-18 en route to clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Kings general manager Monte McNair, last year’s winner of the award, finished tenth in the voting and received one first-place vote following Sacramento’s 46-36 campaign in 2023-24.
