The Pro Football Hall of Fame released 173 names eligible for its Class of 2024 Tuesday morning.

Fifteen former San Francisco 49ers players are listed. But not all players will make it to Canton, Ohio. The number will be widdled down to 25 semifinalists in November. The Class of 2024 will be enshrined next August.

Outside of the Bay Area, some of the more notable names to be included are Brandon Marshall, Jordy Nelson, Antonio Gates, Jamaal Charles, Max Unger, and Julius Peppers.
