For week two of the 2023-24 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to play against the Los Angeles Rams at Sofi Stadium. Since the Rams started playing there in 2020, the 49ers faithful have dubbed it ‘Levi’s South’ due to the heavy presence they consistently have during those showings.
It appears the organization is leaning into that by electing to wear their home jerseys this coming Sunday.

Since moving to ‘Levi’s South,’ San Francisco has a 3-1 record in that stadium with the only loss coming in the 2022 NFC Championship Game.
After slow starts in previous seasons, opening the year with two wins would be encouraging. Having an away stadium coated in San Francisco red could add additional motivation and comfort to the rivalry matchup.
With the Rams having recently revamped their roster and leaned into younger players, the high-caliber Niners are currently favored by 7.5 points. Despite the turnover, head coach Kyle Shanahan is making sure his team does not overlook the matchup. Los Angeles’ roster still features the notable talents of Aaron Donald and Matthew Stafford and come into the matchup fresh off a week one victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
After the game against the Rams, San Francisco will get to play three straight games at the real Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
