A pin can be placed in questions about Chris Paul and the Golden State Warriors’ starting lineup.
On Tuesday, coach Steve Kerr announced Chris Paul will join Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney in the starting lineup. The Warriors open the preseason on Saturday, Oct. 7, by welcoming the Los Angeles Lakers to the Bay Area.

Kerr went on to say in his press conference they’ll try a lot of different lineups throughout the preseason. Forward Draymond Green is expected to miss four to six weeks after he sprained his ankle in September.
“We’ve got to try a lot of different groups and see what we have,” Kerr said.
The Warriors acquired Chris Paul this past summer after the 12-time All-Star was sent by Phoenix to Washington in the Bradley Beal deal. Since then, Paul has been asked if he believes he’ll come off the bench. At Golden State’s media day, Paul said he’ll do “whatever to help our team win.”
Golden State and Sacramento face off twice in the preseason before the Kings welcome the Warriors to the Golden 1 Center for their home opener on Friday, Oct. 27.
