Are the Sacramento Kings going to be in the market fort a big move this summer? Sean Cunningham thinks all cards are on the table.
FOX40 Kings insider, Sean Cunningham, joined The Drive Guys Friday to talk about the Kings’ 2023-24 season and what’s next this summer. They also dive into this summer’s free agency class and where Sacramento could be looking in both free agency and in trade. Plus, did Kendrick Lamar get the last laugh on Drake?
All that and more on Sactown Sports.
“Maybe not necessarily in free agency, but I think everyone realizes if you’re a kings fan or if you’ve been in this market long enough that this this organization typically makes its biggest splash when it comes to trades,” Sean Cunningham said Friday. “Especially when you come off a season, the way the Western Conference was and everyone realizing how they’re going to have to be aggressive, and 48-50 wins may not be what you thought it would be a year ago or maybe what you thought it would even be this season…So yeah, every year presents opportunity, and all you have to do is just be aggressive. And the fact that they’ve got, essentially, all their draft picks still, just sitting there is draft capital and ready to be unloaded if they choose to do so for the right opportunity.”
