Why Sac State’s Penalties Keep Costing the Hornets
Head coach Alonzo Carter joins Jason Ross to explain what Sacramento State needs to fix before facing Ball State, starting with the penalties that continue to put the Hornets in difficult situations. Carter reflects on nine first half penalties for 100 yards against Ohio, the season ending injuries testing the roster, and why he remains committed to the program’s long-term process.
Defensive lineman Malik Tullis also shares his journey to Sac State, the team’s goal of earning its first MAC win, and his plans to become a firefighter if football is not in his future.
