Zach Harper on possible landing spots for Buddy Hield if Pacers trade him

The Athletic’s Zach Harper joined Whitey & Watkins with Zakariah to talk about the Sacramento Kings offseason, trade rumors surrounding former Kings Buddy Hield and more.
Reports surfaced earlier this week that the Indiana Pacers are in the process of finding a new home for Hield after contract extension talks failed to progress for both sides. The 30-year-old guard spent six seasons with the Kings before he, guard Tyrese Haliburton and Tristan Thompson were traded to Indiana for center Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb and a second-round pick.
On the topic of possible destinations for Hield, Harper said teams like the Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors, and the San Antonio Spurs make sense to him.
“I don’t know how many teams want to acquire him and give him a hundred plus million dollars over four years if that’s what he’s looking for, but I don’t think it’s a terrible idea to get him and kick around a long-term contract,” Harper said.
