This year’s revised All-Star game format will not be the classic East vs West matchup we have had in years past. This year will feature one captain from each conference, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James, who will select a team from a pool consisting of the eight remaining starters and 14 reserves. The teams will be comprised of two backcourt players, three frontcourt players and two wild-card players, regardless of conference.

Western Conference

Backcourt: Stephen Curry (Captain), GSW (27.7 PPG, 6.5 AST, 5.3 REB, 49.5% FG, 41.8% 3PT)

Backcourt: James Harden, HOU (32.3 PPG, 9.1 AST, 5.0 REB, 45% FG, 39% 3PT)

Frontcourt: Kevin Durant, GSW (26.2 PPG, 5.4 AST, 6.9 REB, 2.1 BLK, 51.1% FG, 40.4% 3PT)

Frontcourt: Joel Embiid, PHI (23.8 PPG, 10.8 REB, 1.9 BLK, 48.6%FG)
