2023 CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive: How to donate at drop-off locations and Dec. 1 event

Help give a happy holiday to families in need with the 2023 CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive.

KCRA 3, the California Highway Patrol and the CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive have been helping to make the holidays brighter for children in our community for over 15 years.

The community’s generosity led to more than 10,000 toys being collected at last year’s drive.

Click here for more information on this year’s toy drive.

Drop-off locations:
You can help by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to any CHP office or American Furniture Galleries between Nov. 10 and Dec. 10.

People are encouraged to consider giving athletic equipment, gift cards and make-up for teens, too, since a lot of gifts in past years have been for younger kids.

This year’s CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive is sponsored by American Furniture Galleries, Bell Brothers Heating & Air, Shriner’s Hospital and Toyota.

Drop-off event at Cal Expo:
A drop-off event at Cal Expo in Sacramento will take place on Friday, Dec. 1, from 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

You can make your donation at the main gate off Exposition Boulevard.
