3-Star Defensive Tackle Charged With Murder

Jessie Altman was one of three men who have been arrested on Wednesday in Gadsden, Alabama on capital murder charges. According to Bleacher Report, the three men were suspects in the murder of 18-year-old Aaron “A.J.” Huff. Huff was shot and killed the night of Jan. 4.

The other two boys involved were Kalab Whitworth (16) and Tyler Abbott (17) who were being tried as adults since they were involved in the death of Huff.

Altman is a prospect for Etowah High School in Attalla, Alabama, and ranks as No. 40 defensive tackle and and No. 20 player from Alabama’s Class of 2019. He received scholarship offers from several high-profile colleges, including Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and Virginia Tech. He also was shown some interest from Alabama and Florida State, but neither university were offering him a scholarship.
