The San Francisco 49ers are feeling thankful this holiday season, with Aaron Banks back into the starting lineup after a two-game absence.
The 49ers starting left guard is active for their prime-time clash with the Seattle Seahawks Thursday. He has been off the field for three weeks due to injury.
Aaron Banks has been dealing with turf toe since suffered the injury Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He has missed every contest since, unable to practice until this week. San Francisco had listed him as questionable for Week 12, logging a limited session Tuesday. But after seeing him trot out onto Lumen Field with his game pants, it was clear he would be ready to go on a short week.
Meanwhile, right guard Spencer Burford has been listed as inactive for Week 12, dealing with a knee issue.
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan stated Tuesday that the second-year right guard would likely play if it was a regular week. Because of the short turnaround though, he won’t be fully fit, not practicing at all this week. The Red & Gold will elect to move backup offensive lineman Jon Feliciano into the starting role for now.
Additionally, the 49ers activated OLs Jesse Davis and Corey Luciano from the practice squad for depth purposes. Both men could see action Thursday if SF suffers more injuries on the field.
#49ers roster moves:
Activated from IR: CB Samuel Womack
Waived: CB Shemar Jean-Charles
Elevated from practice squad: OL Corey Luciano, OL Jesse Davis

Secondary Depth on the way for the 49ers?
The San Francisco 49ers have also activated cornerback Samuel Womack III from the injury reserve Thursday.
The second-year cover-man has been on the IR since suffering a significant knee injury prior to Week 2. Womack, 24, played in 19 games as a rookie in 2022, recording 24 combined tackles, two pass defenses. one forced fumble and one interception. SF already activated rookie CB Darrell Luter Jr. last week, giving defensive coordinator Steve Wilks plenty of options in the secondary.
To make room, the 49ers have waived CB Shemar Jean-Charles Thursday.

Finally, the Red & Gold have ruled rookie defensive lineman Robert Beal Jr. as out for Week 12. The team has until Monday to activate him from the IR, otherwise he will redshirt the 2023 season.
