On Sunday, Feb. 11, either the Kansas City Chiefs or San Francisco 49ers will lose their first game at Allegiant Stadium.
The two competitors of Super Bowl LVIII are a combined 5-0 since the home of the Las Vegas Raiders opened in 2020.
San Francisco has only played at Allegiant Stadium once, a 37-34 overtime win over the Raiders in Week 17 of the 2022 season. In that game, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 284 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Christian McCaffrey also recorded 121 yards on the ground and one touchdown.
As AFC West rivals, the Chiefs have had more opportunities to play, and win, in Sin City. The most recent victory came in Week 12 of the 2023 season when the Chiefs beat the Raiders 31-17. Patrick Mahomes threw for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns and running back
Isiah Pacheco ran in two more.
