A’s reliever TJ McFarland joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross to discuss their start to the season, and his optimism about the roster moving forward, and more.
“We’re gonna start winning a lot of games,” McFarland said Wednesday morning. The A’s current 20-17 record has them two games behind the AL West leading Seattle Mariners, who they are currently hosting in Sacramento.
Being one of the more veteran players on the team, they discussed keeping things light in the dugout and locker room, his impressions of Sacramento, dealing distractions, and plenty more!

Cal Raleigh delivered a go-ahead two-run, pinch-hit single with one out in the top of the ninth to help the Seattle Mariners notch a 5-3 victory over the Athletics on Tuesday night at West Sacramento, Calif.
Julio Rodriguez had three hits, including a homer, for the Mariners. Miles Mastrobuoni had two hits for Seattle, which scored three times in the ninth to halt a two-game slide.
