The Sacramento Kings took care of business against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this week, with all five starters finishing with double digits points and four of the five scoring over 20 points.

On Thursday, Kings assistant coach Doug Christie joined Cattles & Ramie to discuss the team’s recent win over LeBron James and how dominant center Domantas Sabonis has looked lately.

Topics discussed include:

  • What Christmas is like in the Christie house
  • How special the last two week from Domantas Sabonis has been
  • “He’s in the groove as far as rebounding goes, the jump shot is happening, he’s in the post and dominant, and the biggest thing is he’s an unselfish teammate.”
  • Sabonis reminds Christie of Chris Webber and Vlade Divac
  • If there is a concern with how many minutes Sabonis has been putting up lately?
  • If Wednesday’s game was Keegan’s most complete game as a rookie
  • How important it is to get Kevin Huerter going offensively outside of his three-point game
  • Why it’s important to have a veteran like Harrison Barnes in your lineup and organization
  • Did the Kings’ rookie break the Defensive Player of the Game chain?
