Former Sacramento Kings point guard Bobby Jackson joined Deuce & Mo Thursday to talk about the Sacramento Kings’ playoff hopes, his comparisons between teams of the past & present and how the G-League Stockton Kings have grown under Jackson. Plus, Bobby’s experiences with the Sacramento fanbase.

“Man, the city was electric,” Jackson said on the show Thursday. “And you could feel that vibe again. The guys are playing their butts off. They’ve been consistent and they’re having fun, that’s the most important thing. When they step out on the floor every single night, they’re having fun. They’re competing. They’re playing at an elite level, they’re sharing the ball…So they’re doing a great job and I think the city is going to galvanize and be behind them just for the simple fact it’s been 16 years without being in the playoffs.”

Topics discussed include:

  • The Stockton Kings’ success this season
  • What are some lessons Jackson has learned as a head coach?
  • How has Keon Ellis fared in the G-League?
  • How has Nemmias Queta developed this season?
  • How does the energy in the city compare to the early 2000s?
  • Bobby’s love for the city of Sacramento
