The Oakland Athletics want to see more fans at the ballpark this summer.

Last season, the team averaged just under 10,000 fans per game, the fewest in the MLB. This year, things aren’t looking better.

But, the A’s are hoping to turn that around by introducing three new promotions for the summer. The new “Summer at the Ballpark” promotions will allow fans several ways to save money at the Coliseum.

For just $99, fans can purchase the A’s Summer Pass, which includes tickets to 37 games between May 29 ad Aug. 23. Seats are in the Oak Landing section, which is the left field terrace, between sections 131 and 133. Fans who purchase the summer pass also receive:

  • an Oak Landing T-shirt
  • discounts on premium seating
  • discounts at MLB.com
  • the option to purchase up to four additional tickets at a discount

The team also announced two additional promotions. First, at every Tuesday game this summer, attendees can bring their dogs to Bark in the Park.

And second, every Sunday during the summer, kids are free. Adults can bring two children under the age of 14 with them. Then after the game, kids can stick around and run the bases. Kids Cheer Free kicks off Memorial Day weekend when the Oakland Athletics take on the defending World Series champion Houston Astros.
