The San Francisco Giants finally had all of its best hitters in the lineup on Tuesday night, and the proof of their impact was evident in the box score.

Thairo Estrada and Joc Pederson combined for four hits in the duo’s return from the injured list, and Michael Conforto drove in a run after missing time due to a heel injury as the Giants routed the Colorado Rockies by a final of 10-4 at Coors Field.

Estrada, LaMonte Wadee Jr., and Patrick Bailey finished the night with three of San Francisco’s 14 hits as the Giants (30-30) pulled itself back to the .500 mark.

The Giants tied a San Francisco-era record (1958-present) with eight doubles during the win, something that manager Gabe Kapler praised his team for following the win.

“We’re in Denver, so it’s a little bit different, but I’m definitely proud of the at-bats that the guys had,” Kapler said. “It’s an indication that when we are at our healthiest, our lineup is really deep.”

Eight of the Giants’ nine starters picked up hits during the win, but it was the rookie backstop Bailey who had another memorable night at the plate.

Bailey’s third-inning triple–the first of his career–acted as the middle point of a performance that also included two doubles, one that fell just short of climbing over the right field wall.

Extra base hits come in bunches when playing in the high-altitude of Denver, Colorado, and Tuesday’s game was a perfect example of what it looks like when the ball is flying all over the yard.

“It’s definitely the reputation,” Bailey said of Coors Field. “That’s correct, I’d say. It’s definitely hitter-friendly. I was out of breath a lot of the game, a lot of the time on bases. But they’ve got those cool little oxygen things. Those are fun. First time I’ve ever used them. They work.”

Wade Jr. got on base six times during the win (three hits and three walks) to up his on-base percentage to .429 on the season, second in all of Major League Baseball.

While Wade was the table-setter for the Giants offense, the first baseman highlighted the return of his teammates following the win.

“Getting Estrada back, getting Joc back, two powerful bats back in the lineup, it’s always going to be a good thing,” Wade said. “I think we saw tonight that the offense was clicking on all cylinders.”

San Francisco finally has its lineup fully healthy after multiple injuries affected the offense early in the season. Now, they can only hope that Tuesday’s offensive masterclass was a sign of things to come.
