While Brandon Crawford may have played his final game as a member of the San Francisco Giants, it sounds like he isn’t ready to hang up his gloves.

According to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle, Crawford’s agent Joel Wolfe said Crawford hopes to keep playing in 2024.

“Brandon’s been getting interest from clubs,” Wolfe told Shea at MLB’s manager meeting this week.

The 36-year-old shortstop and Bay Area native spent all 13 years of his major league career with the Giants, playing 1,617 games with the organization.

While he ended this past season with a career-low .194 batting average, he’ll go down as one of the best in Giants’ history. Crawford, a career .250 hitter, has done a lot for San Francisco. He’s helped the team win two World Series, represented the Giants in the All-Star Game three times, has four Gold Gloves, and is a two-time Wilson Defensive Player of the Year award winner.

Brandon Crawford was given a standing ovation from fans at the Giants’ last home game on Oct. 1.
