Well, its didn’t take long for Jung-Hoo Lee to make an impression on American baseball, hitting his first home run in spring training.

The newly-acquired Korean outfielder hit his first dinger in American baseball Thursday, sending one into the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. The new Giants superstar ripped a four-seam fastball off Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Ryan Nelson over the center field wall, sending the SF dugout in to a frenzy.

The HR occurred in the third inning, after Lee had already gotten off to a hot start with a double into right field in the first inning.

Here’s the clip of Jung Hoo Lee’s first homer as a SF Giant:

Jung-Hoo Lee, 25, finished the Cactus League game batting 2-3, with a homer and an RBI to his name. His efforts were the only score of the day for the Orange & Black, losing to Arizona, 2-1.

The Korean-Born star is kno0wn for his speed and out fielding abilities. However, his bat has caught the attention of a few recently. Prior to Thursday’s performance, he went 2-3 in Tuesday’s tie with the Seattle Mariners, 10-10.

Lee signed a six-year, $113 million deal with the Giants in the offseason, coming over from the KBO League. He hit a career .340 in South Korea, including a whooping .898 OPS.
