It’s been quite the offseason for the San Francisco Giants.

According to MLB Network’s Jon Heyman, the Giants have reached an agreement with free-agent third baseman Matt Chapman on a three-year, $54 million deal.

The deal will include opt-outs after the first and second years.

Following a long stand-off, clients of super-agent Scott Boras are beginning to sign deals. First, outfielder Cody Bellinger re-upped with the Chicago Cubs on a three-year deal that includes opt-outs after each season.

Now, Chapman will sign a deal with multiple opt-outs as well.
