UC Davis Slated For ESPN2 Night Game At No. 2 Montana State

For the second consecutive season, No. 11 UC Davis football will play under the lights on ESPN2 when it travels to No. 2 Montana State for a 7:15 p.m. PT kickoff, as announced today by the conference and ESPN.

The trip to Bozeman, Montana, gives the Aggies a chance at redemption as they fell just short in their 2024 Big Sky Conference championship deciding match-up against the Bobcats. UC Davis landed on ESPN2 last season when they traveled to Missoula, Montana, for a night game against Montana, and it was the first time the Aggies had ever been on a linear ESPN network and only the second time they had been nationally broadcast.

The game against Montana State rounds out three nationally broadcast games for the Aggies during the 2025 season, a program record. UC Davis will open its season on ESPN (the first time the Aggies have been on the main linear ESPN network in program history) when they head to Montgomery, Alabama on Aug. 23 to face No. 12 Mercer in the 2025 FCS Kickoff Classic.

And when the Aggies travel to Washington on Sept. 6 they will find themselves on the BIG10 Network with an 8 p.m. kick.

All mini plan seats will be located in section 119 or 125 on the West side of UC Davis Health Stadium. The Pick Any 2 Plan will be $79 while the Pick Any 3 Plan is $129. Both plans can be purchased here.

No. 11 UC Davis football earned selections inside the top three in both preseason Big Sky polls with the Aggies picked to finish second in the Coaches Poll and third in the Media Poll as announced today by the conference ahead of the Big Sky Kickoff Weekend.

The Aggies are coming off a historic season where they racked up 11 wins overall and seven Big Sky wins to finish second in the conference and No. 5 in the nation. UC Davis made a deep run into the NCAA FCS Playoffs, reaching the quarterfinals after collecting a playoff win over Illinois State.
