After playing with the Stanford Cardinal during the 2023-24 season, Andrej Stojakovic has decided on his next school.
The soon-to-be sophomore announced his commitment to the University of California, Berkeley over the weekend, choosing the Golden Bears over Kentucky and North Carolina.
Stojakovic, the son of Sacramento Kings legend Peja Stojakovic, averaged 7.8 points and 3.4 rebounds over 22.3 minutes per game with Stanford.
The 6’7 wing also shot 40 percent from the field and 32 percent from three-point range over 32 appearances with the Cardinal, who finished the season with a record of 14-18 (ninth place in the PAC-12).

More on Andrej Stojakovic
Stojakovic, a local talent who honed his skills at Jesuit High School in Carmichael, was a five-star recruit and the 25th-ranked prospect in the 2023 class, eventually earning the prestigious title of a McDonald’s All-American.
Following a strong season with Stanford, Stojakovic was rumored to be receiving interest from a number of schools that included UNC, Louisville,Creighton, and Michigan.
Kentucky and Cal were Stojakovic’s finalists, and it appears the sophomore selected Cal instead of joining a now John Calipari-less Kentucky program after the noted head coach departed for Arkansas earlier this month.
When is the next Sacramento Kings offseason date of interest?
