Dave shared his thoughts on the state of the Sacramento Kings front office this morning on The Carmichael Dave Show
14 years.
No playoffs.
Changes need to made and made fast for the Sacramento Kings.
Carmichael Dave made a plea to Kings owner Vivek Ranadive on what needs to be done–no matter how difficult it may be–to ensure that the franchise is heading in the right direction come next season.
“Vivek..obviously, you’re going to do it with class. But this should happen on the plane home. You’ve got to make the move,” Dave said regarding the future of current general manager Vlade Divac.
Divac, who was named general manager in 2015, has compiled a 161-231 record in his five-season tenure as the GM.
Sacramento has not made the postseason since the 2005-06 season, and could own the NBA record for consecutive seasons without a postseason appearance if they don’t qualify in 2020-21.
Last April, Divac signed a multi-year extension that runs through the 2022-23 season.
