The Chandler Jones saga in Las Vegas appears to have taken another turn.
On Monday, the defensive end posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, that he was taken to a Las Vegas hospital then transferred to a behavioral health Hospital against his will last week.
“The police said people were concerned about me because of my posts online,” Jones wrote in a journal. He shared photos of journal entries detailing his side of what happened.

The Raiders placed Jones on the non-football illness list leading into Week 3. He is expected to be out indefinitely.
Chandler Jones has missed the Raiders’ first three games and away from the team since late August following multiple social media posts criticizing the organization. The team has repeatedly called the situation a “private matter” and the last time McDaniels spoke about Jones was when he was asked about using that roster spot.
“We’re just respecting that process and understanding the situation, and that’s really all I can say about it,” McDaniels said earlier in September.
In 2022, Chandler Jones signed a three-year, $51 million contract with the Raiders. Last season, before he was shut down for the season with an elbow injury, the defensive end recorded 3 passes defended, 4.5 sacks, 38 combined tackles, three fumble recoveries, and one memorable touchdown.
