Chris Biderman expects Kings-Warriors to be a ‘healthy’ rivalry going forward

The Sacramento Bee’s Chris Biderman joined Chris Watkins and Whitey Gleason Thursday to talk about the Kings making the postseason, what the series will do for the NorCal rivalry, and how the Kings can win their first playoff series in almost 20 years. Plus, can the Kings stop Stephen Curry?
“That’s how rivalries are really born, right?” Biderman said on the show. “It’s when you square off in the playoffs, when the stakes are really high, when emotions are really high and when you basically extend your season or end your season against your foes. So yeah, I think it’s definitely going to ramp up a few notches after the series, no matter how it turns out. And I would expect it to be a pretty healthy rivalry going forward because I don’t think either of these teams are going anywhere anytime soon.”
Additional topics discussed include:
- Is Kings and Warriors a rivalry?
- Will Davion Mitchell be the x-factor in this series?
- How creative will Mike Brown be with stopping Steph Curry?
- Can the box & 1 work on Golden State?
- Will the Kings get exposed for lack of playoff experience?
