The six teams participating in the California Classic are going to be joined by a Country music star.

Niko Moon is set to perform at the Golden 1 Center following the conclusion of games on Wednesday, July 5, the Sacramento Kings announced Tuesday. The mid-summer tournament tips off on Monday, July 3, with the Miami Heat taking on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Moon isn’t the only performer lined up for Sacramento’s mini-basketball tournament. During the two-day event, DJ Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys will perform between games. The Kings also announced attendees will also have an opportunity to purchase new team merchandise and California Classic gear in the team store from collaborators Lululemon, Sportiqe and Sweet Wink.

The Kings announced last month the California Classic’s return to Sacramento. Last year’s event took place in San Francisco at the home of the Golden State Warriors, the Chase Center.

In the past, the mini-summer tournament featured only the Kings, Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. This year, the San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornets, the teams with the first and second overall picks in the 2023 NBA Draft, are joining the fun.

Single-day tickets go on-sale at 10 a.m. Monday, June 26. Team rosters and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
