When the Sacramento River Cats take the field on Thursday night, they will face a former Cy Young Award winner with 12 years of big-league experience.
Dallas Keuchel, a veteran left-hander who has pitched at the MLB level from 2012-23, will start against the River Cats on Thursday night at Sutter Health Park when Sacramento faces the Tacoma Rainiers.
Keuchel, 36, signed a minor-league deal with the Seattle Mariners in April and hopes to join the big-league roster at some point this season.
