Dec 26, 2022, 11:05 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox spoke to the media on Monday afternoon shortly after news broke that center Domantas Sabonis has suffered an avulsion fracture of the ulnar collateral ligament of the right thumb.
The 25-year-old discussed what Sabonis’ potential absence could mean for the team, looked ahead to Tuesday’s game against Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets, and more.
The Sacramento Kings entered the 2022-23 season hoping to break a 16-year playoff drought. After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray as the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
