De’Aaron Fox Talks Rookie Season, Harry Giles Rookie of the Year Chances on Inside the Green Room Podcast

Danny Green, guard for the Toronto Raptors, hosts a podcast called Inside the Green Room, where he shares stories from his basketball career and interviews his peers in the NBA. Last week, he had on Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox, who was hosting a charity bowling tournament in Houston, Texas.
Fox, entering his second season with the Kings, has high expectations for himself and his team in 2019. He shared who his favorite player in the NBA is currently and why he wore his number for the Kentucky Wildcats in college.
With one of the more iconic hairstyles in the league, Fox shared the story of how his hair became what it is and the inspiration behind it.
Excited to take the floor for his sophomore season in the NBA, Fox was asked who, of his two rookie teammates, had the better chance of winning Rookie of the Year; Harry Giles or Marvin Bagley.
Finally, Fox was very honest about his own personal criticism over the last two years of his basketball career.
With training camps beginning shortly, Fox and the Kings are looking forward to getting back to work. Their first preseason game will be against the Suns in Phoenix on the 1st of October.
