Once regarded as one of the NFL’s best receivers, former Dallas Cowboy Dez Bryant is waiting for the deal he wants.

According to NFL insider Ed Werder, Bryant has turned down a multiyear contract from the Baltimore Ravens, not interested in any offer beyond next season. Bryant reportedly wants to leave his options open for a potentially significant payday in 2019 free agency.

While money may play a big factor in future deals, Bryant has made it known that his top priority this summer is to stay in the NFC East, adding fuel to his Cowboys-revenge narrative. Dallas allegedly  cut Bryant due to his high price tag ($12.5 million in 2018) and his personality clashes with coaches and teammates.

Only 29, Bryant appears hungry to prove he still has what it takes to be a top receiver. Last season, Bryant caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns.
