The 49ers-Eagles game was going smoothly until all heck broke loose with Dre Greenlaw at the forefront.
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw was ejected from the Week 13 contest after picking up a personal foul call for striking a Philadelphia Eagles sideline member. The incident was sparked after the linebacker was flagged for a late tackle on running back De’Andre Swift. After the play, Eagles security staffer Dom DiSandro got in Greenlaw’s face to break up the players, leading to the player extending his hand to the staffer’s face.
Greenlaw was assessed a personal foul and ejected from the contest, as was DiSandro for intervening. This occurred at the 9:26 mark of the third quarter, with Philadelphia marching downfield to score a touchdown afterward.

Meanwhile, the NFL world was flabbergasted by the call on Dre Greenlaw, feeling it to be unnecessary.

I typically don’t target officials, but that was so weak. A non-player should NEVER put his hands on a player. And yet the player has to pay a price for that action. #WEAK

San Francisco then responded on the field by scoring another TD. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel broke free for a 48-yard score, running past Eagles defenders to the endzone.
