Former Sacramento Kings 1st round pick Ben McLemore accused of first-degree rape

Former Sacramento Kings guard Ben McLemore has been accused of first-degree rape and multiple sex crimes.
First reported by KGW in Portland, McLemore was arrested on Tuesday, April 10, and charged with first-degree unlawful sexual penetration two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, and first-degree rape.
No bail is currently listed and KGW adds he is set to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon. A small portion of Portland is in Clackamas County.

Ben McLemore was selected with the seventh overall pick by the Kings in the 2013 NBA Draft. He initially left Sacramento to join the Memphis Grizzlies for the 2017-18 season. However, he was traded back to Sacramento the following season, only to be waived midway through the season.
He would go on to play for the Houston Rockets (2019-21), Los Angeles Lakers (2021) and Portland Trail Blazers (2021-22), before exiting the league.
In five seasons with Sacramento, McLemore averaged nine points, 1.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds.
