Watch: Gary Gerould receives the Kings’ Defensive Player of the Game chain after calling 3,000th game

Gary “G-Man” Gerould has been a Sacramento Kings broadcasting team member since 1985.
On Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, he called his 3,000th game for the organization.
“The response from people…I can’t wrap my head around it,” Gerould said, adding he was up until the wee hours of the morning responding to people’s congratulations. ” It’s unlike anything I have ever experienced nor will I experience again in my lifetime.”
The G-Man spoke with Carmichael Dave and Jason Ross Monday to talk about The G-Man calling that game, his career, and more.
