We know of at least one member of the San Francisco Giants organization heading to Seattle for the MLB All-Star Game.

Kyle Harrison was one of six players announced Monday morning set to participate in the 2023 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. Joining Harrison include on the National League team include Pittsburgh’s Endy Rodríguez and Philadelphia’s Justin Crawford. Boston’s Marcelo Mayer, Seattle’s Jonatan Clase, Texas’ Owen White have been announced for the American League team.

Harrison has been impressive for the Giant’s Triple-A affiliate, the Sacramento River Cats. The 21-year-old Southpaw has played in 15 games for the River Cats, usually playing four innings per game. Removing the last game, where he allowed seven runs against the Round Rock Express, Harrison has averaged a 3.04 ERA since the start of May.

Twice this season, Kyle Harrison has earned the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week honors, both coming in the month of May. Ranked 14th in the MLB’s Top 100 Prospects, Harrison was selected by the Giants in the third round 2020 draft.

This isn’t his first trip to the MLB All-Star festivities. He represented the Giants in last year’s MLB All-Star Futures Game and finished the season with 186 strikeouts, second most in the minor leagues.

The full rosters for both leagues will be announced later Monday. This year’s futures game takes place on Saturday, July 8.
