Former coach and current ESPN analyst Herm Edwards joined Cattles and Ramie Friday to preview Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Topics discussed include:
- What stands out the most about Jalen Hurts’ game
- If the Eagles run game can be good enough to dictate the flow of the game
- Patrick Mahomes won’t be 100%, but he’s the MVP for a reason
- “When you walk into the stadium of the Super Bowl, you heal pretty fast.”
- How the Cheifs can stop Jalen Hurts and vice versa, how the Eagles can limit Patrick Mahomes
- His history with both organizations
- “I hope it’s a game that both offenses are going, cause that’s going to make it fun for the fans when you see some offense in the Super Bowl. You don’t want what happened to the Eagles when they played the San Francisco 49ers… You don’t want a 10-7 [score], you want it to be in the high twenties, maybe thirties, you want to see some scoring, you want to see some big plays.”
- The craziness of what happened at the NBA trade deadline
