At a record of 5-4, the San Francisco 49ers are one win away from taking a co-hold of the NFC West alongside the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll need to bring their A-Game in Week 11 though, facing a fellow divisional foe in the Arizona Cardinals Monday night in Mexico City.
The 49ers currently have the lead in the series all-time, sporting a 32-29 record vs the Arizona team. San Francisco will also look to break the record for most wins on Monday Night Football this week, currently tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers at 51 wins all-time. In that streak, the 49ers are 4-1 against the Cardinals.
Week 11 will also feature with teams internationally, playing MNF at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico. VividSeats is projected at least an 80% share of 49ers fans in attendance, turning the Mexican capital into another “Levi’s South”.
“I feel like Mexico is as close of a second home for us,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said earlier in the week. “I think our fan base here in California and in Mexico is unbelievable. I go down to Cabo a lot and there’s a great group of Mexican fans down there, so I’m hoping it’s the same there in Mexico City, so I’m actually excited to do it and go there, be a part of it.”
What time does the Week 11 game start?
Kickoff is set for 5:15 p.m. PST on Monday, Nov. 21st, at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico.
