The Athletic’s Hunter Patterson joined Deuce & Mo Tuesday to discuss his thoughts on the Kings coming down the stretch of the regular season, what would be the best matchup for Sacramento in the playoffs, and what the atmosphere would be like at Golden 1 Center. Plus, can the Kings knock off the red-hot Pelicans?

All that and more on Deuce & Mo.

“They’ve proved a lot this season, but I think they should play as though they have something to prove tonight.” Patterson said on the show. “I think it’s a great thing that coach Mike Brown is actually challenging them after these games.”

Topics discussed include:

  • What will Kings-Pelicans look like tonight?
  • How do the Kings start hot at home?
  • Why are the Kings so good on the road?
  • Are the Kings eager to avenge recent losses?
  • How do the Kings play good defense?
  • Deuce & Mo play “Rank the Opponents” with Hunter
  • Why do teams want to play the Kings in the playoffs?
