What’s the vibe ahead of the Kings’ must-win play-in contest against the Pelicans? The man on the call, Ian Eagle, gives his thoughts before Friday night.
Calling the Kings-Pelicans play-in game Friday, Ian Eagle, joined The Drive Guys to talk about the upcoming play-in matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Sacramento Kings. They also discussed the absence of Zion Williamson for New Orleans, where the game of basketball is going, and the rise of Keon Ellis. Plus, is a beignet just a donut hole?
All that and more on Sactown Sports.
“[Keon Ellis is] a great story. I had a bunch of Alabama games when he was there, and he was a nice player, but he was not earmarked for NBA success,” Ian Eagle said Friday. “That’s a prime example of the right team, the right opportunity, and the right development, coming together. And now a player that could have a 10-to-12-year NBA career, that was an afterthought coming out of college.”
