Sacramento
- Kevin Huerter – QUESTIONABLE (Left ankle soreness)
Huerter missed Friday night’s preseason finale due to ankle soreness, but the Maryland product has been seen getting shots up and moving around with ease during the past couple of practices. Kings head coach Mike Brown told the media on Tuesday that the 24-year-old fully participated in the full-contact portion of practice and added that “he should be fine” to make his Kings debut on Wednesday.
- Keegan Murray – OUT (Health & Safety protocols)
Murray has cleared health and safety protocols, but will not play during Wednesday’s game against Portland.
Kings head coach Mike Brown told reporters this week that the rookie will need to log a full practice before being cleared to play.
Sacramento will have two consecutive days off following Wednesday’s season-opener against the Portland Trail Blazers at Golden 1 Center, meaning that Murray will have a chance to get back into the flow of things if he can exit protocols by Wednesday.
Still, Brown reiterated that having the Iowa product return to action safely is the team’s highest priority.
Portland
- Gary Payton II – OUT (Return to competition conditioning)
- Olivier Sarr – OUT (Right wrist sprain)
- Trendon Wattford – OUT (Right hip flexor strain)
