J.R. Smith is that guy no one really wants to be paired up with, but when you’re with him you know you’re going to be doing majority of the work.

LeBron James announced he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers at the beginning of the month and people everywhere immediately started to react to his decision to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, except J.R. Smith.

He was oddly quiet throughout the transition of King James leaving the Cavs for the Lakers.

Both players shared a unique relationship as teammates but after Smith’s huge mess up in Game 1 and the loss of the NBA Finals, their relationship may have ended on a slightly sour note.

J.R. Smith stayed mute about LeBron James transition, and we can see why…

Being as it took the man THREE WEEKS to respond to the news.

Sure, it’s hard knowing what is the right thing to say for certain situation, but ‘Thanks bro @kingjames’ was not something that needed three weeks.
