Jeff Howe says the 49ers are ‘as good as anybody’ in the NFL

“Brock Purdy and company sort of got a lot of heat [during the three-game skid], at least on a national scale, but their defense forced him to almost play a perfect game and when he wasn’t able to do it, I think the spotlight kind of focuses on the quarterback and I think it’s fair to an extent,” Jeff Howe said on the show Monday. “But when they’re a more balanced team, they’re as good as anybody in the league.”
