The 23-year-old will rejoin Sacramento on a two-year deal after an impressive performance in the NBA bubble

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Sacramento Kings have re-signed guard/forward DaQuan Jeffries to a two-year, $3 million deal.

Jeffries, who was on a splitting time between Sacramento and G-League affiliate Stockton on a two-way contract last season, has signed an NBA deal per James Ham of NBC Sports California.

Ham also shared that Jeffries’ contract is guaranteed for the 2020-21 season and that the team has a team-option for 2021-22.

The 6’5 wing averaged 3.8 points and 1.4 rebounds last season while shooting 50-percent from the field. Jeffries’ playing time was limited, as the rookie only appeared in 10.8 minutes per game over 13 contests.

Jeffries was used in an expanded role in the NBA bubble, where he averaged 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 51-percent from the field.

Per 36 minutes, Jeffries holds averages of 12.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.
