Former Sacramento Kings head coach & broadcaster, Jerry Reynolds, joined Whitey Gleason and Chris Watkins Friday to discuss the arrival of EuroLeague MVP Sasha Vezenkov, where the Kings stand entering September and the team’s depth overall. Plus, Jerry breaks down his baseball achievements growing up.
All that and more on Whitey & Watkins.
“I think he’s a real pro,” Jerry Reynolds said Friday. “He’s an experienced guy that has skills, so he’ll be able to fit in I think seamlessly. I think that’s the best thing, as opposed to a 19-year-old rookie…But yeah, I just can’t imagine him not fitting in extremely well, quick.”
Additional topics discussed include:
- What does Sasha Vezenkov bring to the Kings?
- Can you have too many shooters on a roster?
- Can Javale McGee help the Kings like his mom helped the Monarchs?
- Is Javale a sneaky good pickup for Sacramento?
