Jordan Poole shared his thoughts about the recent altercation with teammate Draymond Green for the first time Sunday.

Earlier this month at a Golden State Warriors practice, Draymond Green and Poole appeared to be jarring at one another. When Green got in Poole’s face, Poole shoved him back. That’s when Green punched his teammate. A few days after the incident, TMZ released footage of the incident.

On Sunday, Poole spoke about the incident to reporters, giving a short and to-the-point statement on the matter.

“He apologized and [was] professional. We plan on handling ourselves that way. We’re here to play basketball and everybody in the locker room and on our team and knows what it takes to win a championship, and we’re going to do that on the court. That’s really all I have to say on the matter. We’re here to win a championship and keep hanging banners.”

Green was fined an undisclosed amount by the team, but was not suspended.
