Eleven weeks into the NFL season and we have seen some great action so far.
We have just one team that has yet to win in the Detroit Lions as they have that tie against Pittsburgh. As for Thursday and the weekend, I can guarantee that we will get some more great drama. So here are the picks.
Lock of the week (9-2, last week lost my lock with Tennessee)
Dallas Cowboys over the Las Vegas Raiders. This is a tougher week to find a lock and even the picks overall. Dallas wins a lot on Thanksgiving and they have a few pieces out but the Raiders look broken right now. I expect Dallas to win and for the Raiders to fall below .500 for the first time this season.
Upset of the week (2-9, lost with the Cowboys over the Chiefs last week)
Steelers over the Bengals. Not a huge upset but based on the point spread it would be an upset. These teams have great knowledge of one another. I think Big Ben and the Steelers will finish this game unlike what they did Sunday in LA. Steelers in a close one.
Games That I Feel Good About
Bills over the Saints. I am not sure what has happened to Buffalo but I still really believe in them. Their attention has to be sharp now because New England has caught them and passed them. They have let off the gas and now must be refocused. Look for them to do so on Thanksgiving.
Ravens over the Browns. Baltimore found a way last week without Lamar and they need to find a way again against a Browns team that isn’t playing as well as they were earlier in the season. Ravens will find that way and take care of their rival Cleveland.
49ers over the Vikings. I might be guilty of buying into the last 2 weeks of the 49ers but they have looked good. Minnesota always plays a thrilling game that comes down to the end. This one may do just that but still the pick is San Francisco.
Chargers over the Broncos. Justin Herbert and the Chargers are also always involved in thrilling games. They just have too much fire power for Denver and I expect this one to be less stressful for Los Angeles.
Eagles over the Giants. Another division game but Philadelphia has really started to put it together lately. Combine that with a short week for the G-Men and this should let the Eagles fly.
The Rest Of The Games
Bucs over the Colts-This is a great game but the champs pull through.
Panthers over the Dolphins
Falcons over the Jaguars
Texans over the Jets
Rams over the Packers – another awesome game. Both teams coming off losses, I am trusting the Rams talent to prevail here.
Lions over the Bears -Nagy said he wasn’t going to get fired after this week, he will be wrong as Detroit gets their first win.
Titans over the Patriots – The Titans regroup and cool off the hottest team going
Seattle over WFT – Seahawks win a low scoring ugly Monday night game
