NBC Sports California analyst and former Sacramento Kings forward Kenny Thomas joined the Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross Wednesday about the experience factor of the Kings, how Andrew Wiggins may impact the series and more.

In round one of the NBA playoffs, the three-seeded Kings host the sixth-seeded Golden State Warriors. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Golden 1 Center.

Additional topics discussed include:

  • How are the players feeling with a week off in between games?
  • “Yesterday [Tuesday], they had the day off. They played Sunday. So, those first couple of days is kind of like getting some guys time to heal and rest a little bit. I feel like today [Wednesday] is one of those days where they’re going to start easing back into it.”
  • How different will the playoffs be for the “inexperienced” Kings?
  • What can Mike Brown and his staff do to get his players in the right frame of mind for the playoffs?
  • What should we expect from Andrew Wiggins in this series?
  • “Being out for over a month like he has been is hard. You got to come back and see where you’re at in this situation and where things flow. I think he’s a guy that can step in and play a nice role especially cause there’s no pressure because he has Steph and Klay and those guys have been playing pretty good ball.”
  • Draymond Green can be “got” mentally. How would Kenny play him if he was facing off against Draymond and the Warriors?
  • Why De’Aaron Fox needs to start his game early.
