The Sacramento Kings are sending four of their five starters to NBA All-Star Weekend, as Kevin Huerter became the latest addition to this upcoming weekend’s festivities in Utah.
According to The Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson, Huerter has been invited to participate in the 3-Point Contest–something that the guard and Kings were both pushing for in recent weeks. The 24-year-old will join teammates De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, and Keegan Murray as Sacramento’s representatives during the All-Star festivities.

Huerter has been a solid addition to a Kings team that currently holds a 32-24 record–third in the Western Conference–as the 24-year-old is shooting 39 percent from three-point range while averaging 14.8 points per game (career-high) on 48 percent shooting from the field (career-high).
The Maryland product has drilled 139 three-point field goals this season, just 21 short of his career-high.
Saturday’s Three-Point Contest will include some familiar faces, as former Kings guards and current Indiana Pacers duo Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield will join Huerter in the fold, along with Portland Trail Blazers guards Damian Lillard and Anferneee Simons, Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, and Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro.
You can watch Kevin Huerter compete in the Starry 3-Point Contest during All-Star Saturday, which takes place Saturday, February 18th at 5:00 PM PST (second event).
