Do you want to support the Kings in their play-in tournament game against the Pelicans in New Orleans on Friday night?

Tickets for the must-win game are a bargain, compared to what it costs to see the Kings at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.

As of Wednesday afternoon, tickets on StubHub for a seat in the upper levels at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans could be purchased for as low as $11, not including taxes and fees (that would bump things up closer to $20). Many lower-level tickets were available for around $45.

Kings vs. Pelicans ticket prices on SeatGeekGametime and Vivid Seats are pretty similar.

It’s a shocking contrast from prices leading up to the Kings vs. Warriors thriller in Sacramento on Tuesday when upper-level tickets started at $125 on the secondary market and many lower-level seats were in the $400 range.

The obvious catch is what it would cost you to travel to New Orleans from Sacramento.

Flights out of Sacramento International Airport don’t come cheap. According to Kayak.com, it would cost about $500 for a one-way flight out of Sacramento on Thursday or on Friday morning.

There are better options if you can depart out of San Francisco International Airport or Oakland. Bay Area flights start at around $216 for a one-way ticket, according to Kayak. Expect to pay around the same price to fly back on Saturday or a little more on Sunday.
