Larry Krueger, long-time sports analyst and host of The Krueg Show on YouTube, joined Stiles & Watkins on Friday to preview the 49ers matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday.
San Francisco is coming out of their Bye Week riding a three-game losing streak. In order for the 49ers to pull out the win Sunday, Krueger says San Francisco will need to take away the Jaguars’ speed and Trevor Lawrence’s short passes to tight end Evan Engram.
“The Niners have to stop the run and have to stop Evan Engram,” Krueger said. “You could argue the wrong team is favored. The Niners haven’t won in a month and Jacksonville hasn’t lost in five weeks, they’ve got the longest streak going. And they haven’t trailed in any of those games. I think this is going to be tough.”
Additional topics discussed include:

- Which team between the 49ers, Eagles and Lions has the best remaining schedule?
- What does Brock Purdy need to do in the second half of the season?
- Steve Wilks moving to the sidelines is “a total nonstory.”
